Allama Iqbal was a great poet and a great philosopher. During his lifetime, he was called “Poet of the East”, and Philosopher of Islam. He awakened the Muslims through his powerful poetry. He was a firm believer in Islam, and he told his fellow Muslims that they could improve their lot by following the teachings of Islam. Iqbal and Quaid-i-Azam were the two great spiritual catalysts for the Muslim Ummah in the Continent of Asia.
